Counseling for individuals
I hope to support clients awareness of patterns and beliefs that no longer serve them and to provide a compassionate space where clients can feel their feelings and integrate the past so that it no longer has a hold on the present.

The Counselling Process

I am truly passionate about supporting clients growth and integration of past experiences, living wounds and unloved parts. I believe that each individual is the expert on their own life experience and holds the key to their own healing. In a supportive environment our innate wisdom can be called forth and a path to healing revealed. My hope is to facilitate greater awareness through self connection, emotional processing and inner compassion. This practice encourages a new relationship to self that is both caring and meaningful and allows for greater expression of truth and self agency.

My Experience

I have been in private practice since 2015, counselling individuals struggling with anxiety, depression and trauma recovery. In June 2022, I graduated from The Kelowna College of Professional Counselling with a diploma in applied psychology and counselling. Prior to that I completed a four year therapy training program at The Integral Healing Centre of Toronto. This program focused on client centered talk therapy, bioenergetic theory (combining psychodynamic/somatic interventions) and energy psychology for healing. During this time I researched and wrote a thesis on Birth Trauma from a mother’s perspective. My work and findings were influenced by personal experience and client work. In this I explored the connection between early life trauma and our experience of birth trauma.
Prior to my studies in counselling, I worked for a decade in Eating Disorder Support as a group facilitator and individual counsellor at both Sheena’s Place and The Kyla Fox Centre.
As a member in good standing with the CPCA, Canadian Professional Counsellors Association and ACTA, I am committed to upholding professional and ethical standards of care that prioritize the needs and best interest of clients
Counseling for individuals
My intention is to empower clients to know themselves, reclaim their story and find compassion for their experiences.
